Description
Two spunky orphans living on the street meet a kind-hearted factory secretary and a demoralized architect who is going blind. His plans for a new modern factory may be the answer to everyone’s problems! This rare FBO feature was directed by James Leo Meehan, the son-in-law of famed author Gene Stratton-Porter. Child actor Frankie Darro was in the middle of a string of successful starring roles. Jobyna Ralston had just finished her run as Harold Lloyd’s leading lady. This is also Lassie Lou Ahern’s last film for ten years! Found in France, this film has been restored with original titles that were saved by Lassie Lou. We also include a commentary track by Lassie Lou herself– perhaps the last time a silent film star commented on her own work. This is Meehan’s only available silent film.
